Job Summary And Qualifications

The Nursing Excellence Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing support for the Journey to Excellence Magnet, Pathways and Unit of Distinction programs. The Coordinator is responsible for tracking program activities and plays a critical role in the coordination and support of facilities on their Magnet or Pathway journey to excellence. By performing these duties, the Clinical Coordinator works independently under the direction of the Nursing Excellence Directors and Manager, and also works with key corporate, group, division and facility stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Journey to Excellence programs. This role is part time and will work 20 hours per week.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track Journey to Excellence Magnet, Pathways, and Unit of Distinction program activities
  • Compiles statistical reports
  • Gathers information and develops summaries as requested
  • Maintains confidentiality of data and communications
  • Audits and manages the provisions of data platform access
  • Attends meetings as assigned and provides program updates and summaries as requested
  • Performs special projects and tasks as needed to support the Journey to Excellence Magnet, Pathways, and Unit of Distinction programs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, health sciences, management or related field with 3 plus years related experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
